9 Weeks and counting

I am now 9 weeks pregnant, and it is not exactly what I expected. I never really had thought morning sickness could last all day... I really only feel nauseous all the time, the yucky stuff is more on occasion. I feel pretty lucky. It is the weirdest feeling though being sick, and tired and sore all the time, normally I would just feel bad for myself and wish that this had never happened to me (I mean really who wants to be sick all the time). But oddly enough I feel more excited that I feel sick and blessed that I feel sick, because it means that God has blessed me with the privilege of being pregnant. So although I am not physically doing great I feel super excited and blessed. 

On December 4th we had our first doctors appointment with Dr. Stacy Mellum. He seems like an awesome guy and a really great doctor. We chatted a lot about what to expect and he answered all the questions I had been dying to ask. We then got to see our baby for the first time. We got to see its little heart beat and even saw it wiggle a little bit. It was one of the most amazing experience of my life. I can't even describe the immense joy that I felt by actually seeing our baby for the first time!

It is the oddest thing to think that inside of me God is knitting together another life. I can't even comprehend how amazing this really is. I am just more and more in amazement of God our savior every moment I think about it!  

That there is pretty much all I have to update. We have been having an amazing time getting ready for Christmas and enjoying one and other in this exciting time! I hope this holiday season finds you all happy and feeling blessed! Until next time!
