Documenting Delight #2

This weeks highlights in pictures

Wow another week has gone by already. This last week was pretty full and caotic for my little squirt. She was able to meet her great grandma and grandpa Wren. We did lots of fun things with them while they were here including visiting, catching up, going to the batting cages, having them over to our little place for dinner, and exploring Scheels, and getting and aweful awful burger

She is just a little too happy about it too!

Four Generations ... Dad is a little out numbered

We did lots of fun things with them while they were here including visiting, catching up, going to the batting cages, having them over to our little place for dinner, and exploring Scheels, and getting and aweful awful burger. Needless to say this week has been a little rough on her. I have learned through this week that she does a lot better when we aren't so busy. When we get too busy I don't think she gets proper naps and feedings, thus I think that she becomes stressed. I suppose these are just things we learn as we go.

She definitely had some amazing moments this week that were so cool to experience. Last Thursday was a pretty big day for her. She rolled from her back to her left side while on her play mat, and while at grandma and grandpa Mac's house she grabbed a hold of a toy all by herself. On Friday while I was getting her ready for bed she looked up at me from her changing table, gave the biggest cutest grin and said "hi" she did it again when Andrew came over, as I was freaking out.

On Saturday she rolled from her side to her stomach in her sleep and scared me half to death, I was so afraid that she was going to keep doing it while she was sleeping and get all caught up in something... not that there is really anything to get caught up in ... I guess I'm just a worrier.
Throughout the week I noticed she seems to be able to recognize more faces than just Andrew and I's she get's excited to see certain people it is really neat.
She is also able to hold her head up during the dreaded tummy time for about 5 or more seconds, and is really learning how grab onto things and hold on... my necklace is not so appreciative of this one, but her rattle loves it!

Funny story, I now know what baby spit up tastes like... Today while I was playing "super baby" with her she decided that this would be an perfect moment to spit up, yep that's right, it landed right in my mouth as well as all over me... not as bad as I thought it would be, and I held onto my lunch.

All in all this has been a pretty good week!

Some pictures to hold you over until next time....
